The Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) Program provides official crime reports on an annual basis for all cities, counties, and states. The 2016 report reveals that Spring Valley experienced a total number of 151 crimes. This includes 6 violent crimes and 145 property crimes. The violent crime reported was 6 aggravated assaults. There were no reports of murder, rape, or robbery in that year. For property records, there were 21 burglaries, 119 larcenies, and 5 motor vehicle thefts. How to Find Sex Offender Information in Spring Valley?

The DPS maintains sex offender information on behalf all counties in Nevada. It compiles information gotten from the various Sheriff’s Offices and other local law enforcement agencies. It provides the public with sex offender information through the Nevada Sex Offender Public Website. Interested persons can search Spring Valley sex offenders by using the Name Search function to find a sex offender by first and/or last name. The Southern Nevada Health District is the primary custodian of Clark County and Spring Valley birth records. The Health District has birth records from 1973 to the present in its custody. To get a Spring Valley birth certificate that was registered prior to the above date, call the Nevada State Office of Vital Records at (775) 684-4242.

To order a Spring Valley birth record, a requester can make an in-person or mail request. To make an in-person request, a requester should visit the Southern Nevada Health District Office at 280 South Decatur Boulevard in Las Vegas. The office is open from Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. The requester will be required to present a valid photo ID.

To make a mail request, complete the Birth Certificate Application (also available in Spanish). Mail the completed form, along with money order payment and a copy of a valid ID to:

It costs $33 for the first copy of a Spring Valley birth certificate and $20 for each additional copy of the same record requested. The accepted payments for in-person requests include cash, money order, cashier’s check, and debit/credit cards. The only accepted method for mail requests is money order. The Nevada Office of Vital Records keeps records of births registered in Nevada from 1 July 1911 to date. Only eligible applicants with proof of eligibility can request a Spring Valley Birth record. The Southern Nevada Health District keeps the death records Clark County and Spring Valley. It has Spring Valley death records from 1988 to the present. To request a certificate of a death that happened before the above date, call the Nevada State Office of Vital Records at (775) 684-4242.

Interested persons can make in-person and mail requests for Spring Valley death records. To make an in-person, visit the Office of the Southern Nevada Health District with a valid photo ID. The office is at 280 South Decatur Boulevard in Las Vegas. It opens between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. from Monday to Friday.
